How I Deal With All The Worry and Stress

I never thought I'd get to a point where I'd feel this helpless and overwhelmed. My son is teething and has been sick for days. Though he's been such a little boy (only crying when he's hungry or when he's tired and needing sleep), I still find myself worrying about him, everything about him . So this is what's its like to be a mom. There has been times I feel so drained of energy and so burnt out but thanks to these tips, I feel soooo much better already.

1) If you have a garden, step out, enjoy the flowers and take in lots of fresh air. Believe me, it can do wonders and can help you get rid of that horrid frown.

2) Think HAPPY thoughts. Spread out your arms, think about every little thing that makes you smile, laugh out loud if you like!

3) Whatever it is that's making you worry, it's NOT a problem. It's all in your mind.
There is an old legend about a King that handled problems in a unique way. Whenever a serious situation arose the King would open his hand and quietly gaze at something written on his ring. His distress and fears would quickly disappear as the king was again filled with renewed confidence and enthusiasm.

Eventually the King succumbed to old age and passed away. Before long mourners eagerly prised the Kings lifeless hand open which revealed an inscription on the King's ring. The secret words that inspired a noble King were read aloud: "This to shall pass."

4) Now that you have calmed down, it's time you deal with the problem. You don't run away from it. Gather your wits and FACE it with courage and with all your might.

These are just some of the ways I deal with worry and stress. Do you have anything you would like to add? If you have tips on how to relieve yourself of stress and how to stay happy, post a comment. I love hearing from my readers.
